Frequently asked questions
Does it upload screenshots?
No. All screenshot analysis happens locally on your child’s device. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere.
Will it slow the phone or drain the battery?
Guardian AI is designed to run efficiently in the background with minimal battery impact. We’re measuring real-world battery and performance numbers during the beta and will publish results once we have them.
Which Android versions does it support?
Guardian AI supports Android 11 and above.
Why isn’t it on Google Play?
Google Play heavily restricts apps that can see the screen — even protective ones. We deliver directly so we don’t compromise the protection. Installation takes two minutes with our guide.
Can my child uninstall it?
Guardian AI is designed to be tamper-resistant — a parent PIN and tamper alerts are rolling out during the beta. It isn’t tamper-proof, though: on a standard, non-managed phone, a determined teenager can still find a way around any app. For stronger enforcement, ask us about managed-device setups.
